    Aero Academics originated from our experiences at Oxford and Cambridge, where we were involved in teaching, studying, and participating on interview panels. We noticed a significant gap in the educational support provided by various tutoring and consultancy sites, often encountering students who needed substantial revisions despite prior help. This realization led us to create Aero Academics, with the aim of offering a deeper, more insightful approach to education consulting. Our foundation is built on firsthand experience and a commitment to providing comprehensive, personalized guidance to help students achieve excellence academically and in their future endeavors.

Pedagogy

Khaled currently serves as a Teaching Associate at Queens College, University of Cambridge, where he was also a Munro Scholar (for Human Social and Political Sciences). Khaled’s academic journey at Cambridge is ongoing as he works towards completing his PhD in Sociology. In addition, he has the privilege of supervising within the Judge Business School, Cambridge. One of Khaled’s most invaluable experiences at Cambridge has been his role on the admissions interview panel. This position has not only deepened his understanding of the rigorous selection criteria of elite institutions but has also equipped him with unparalleled insights that few possess, making him uniquely positioned to guide students through the intricate admissions landscape. Beyond academia, Khaled is the founder of Klario, a strategic investment vehicle.

Communications

Maya is a current DPhil (PhD) candidate at the University of Oxford in Political Theory. She holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and ranked among the top 1% of her cohort during her BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge. With three years of tutoring experience, Maya specialises in Politics, IR, Sociology, and Anthropology. She has provided expert admissions guidance for applicants to top UK universities, including Cambridge and Oxford. Beyond academia, Maya is the CEO of Asothia, a platform matching researchers with funders and collaborators. She received the 2021 John Dunn Prize for her dissertation on research funding models at Cambridge. Maya is currently part of the Cambridge Judge Business School Accelerator and has been mentored by global experts in ideation, branding, marketing, and tech innovation.

Operations

Olivia Railton is a University of Oxford Law graduate with nine years of tutoring and education consulting experience. A passionate researcher and educator, she has also recently completed her MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics where she achieved a distinction for her dissertation on interpersonal violence in virtual reality. As a tutor and teacher, she specializes in Philosophy, Politics, Modern History, and Law, and is experienced in teaching students from a range of backgrounds and skill levels. As an admissions consultant, Olivia has successfully advised students from 20+ countries through the Ivy+ and Oxbridge admissions process. In the last year, her students have secured places at Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, St. Andrews, LSE, and McGill, as well as numerous other elite universities across the UK, US, Canada, and Europe.
